We had two rooms and they were very nice and definitely clean. We had plenty of space and had no problems with noise. The staff was friendly and helpful too! First the front desk clerk was rude. Second we had a room that was a wheal chair room and did not know until we went up to the room, when asked to change rooms, I was told that I would have to go to a smoking room if I wanted anything different. Third the room had no heat, when it was 60 degrees outside, which caused me, wife, and my 2 year old daughter to shiver and sneeze all night, which resulted in me catching a cold. Fourth, one of the two elevators went out of service which made it inconvenient, because it was the only elevator working for the hotel. It was very disappointing, because of the location down town and it has a lot of history. The air conditioner didn't work, the furniture was broken, the closet door was off the track and the cabinet doors were off and sitting on the floor. When I called the front desk, not only was the guy rude, he was not even apologetic for the conditions. He also insisted they were sold out (no other rooms) when a call through the travel agency was able to make a reservation. I will never return.
