From the hospitality down to the amazing room we stayed in. I would advise everyone to please stay there. The room was so convenient and comfortable. Our stay last weekend was very pleasant. The Inn is beautiful with great decor & furnishings, a great location, very good a/c and the staff could not be more helpful. My husband and I rented the cottage house off of the courtyard. My husband and I had planned a tour of Ace Basin while in the area. Unfortunately, the boat owner cancelled at the very last minute, leaving us high and dry. When we decided to spend the extra day in Savannah, the staff at the Beaufort Inn was as helpful as it is possible to be, even though we reluctantly had to cancel a second night at the Inn. We'll be back one day because we liked the Inn--and the people who work there--so much. The rooms are lovely, with balconies and a rocking chair! The Inn is steeped in history. The resturant is a 4 star experience, the staff is a 5 star group. The rooms were spacious, beds extremely comfortable, breakfast exceptional, and romance filled the air. The staff were there to make your stay a joy and for us they did. Located centrally, you can tour Beaufort by foot or carriage with no problem. When you're there, eat at te resturant, it more than exceeds the hype on the web site-- superb. The rooms were especially unique and offered access to private balcony's with wonderful views.
