Wonderful Getaway

We went for a romantic getaway and we could not have asked for a much better place. Great view of the ocean!! You need to just cross the street to be on the beach. This part of the beach is less crowded and more relaxing.

The rooms are beautiful,

I would think twice about returning

Checked in and was very pleased w my room - that lasted 30 minutes. The people next door were making so much noise that after 45 minutes I called the front desk. The answer I received "I can not control what's going on on the next room". I sort of agree but for $300 a night was not the answer I should have been given. After 15 minutes into the conversation I requested to be moved - she was not getting the point. I was informed that there were no other rooms. Ten more minutes into the conversation another room shows up. The difference in the quality of the rooms was inmense. Ripped and stained carpet, covered balcony and lower level floor.
Did not call back to complain because it is not my style.

Excellent customer service.Had to pay

Excellent customer service.Had to pay $28.00 for parking and the kitchen is located on 7ft away from the bed.“Very good hotel. Rooms were clean except for the bathroom floor that needed a good cleaning. I liked the shower because it is large and water was very forceful even on the 12th floor. Rooms were not very sound proof.”

Five Days in Paradise!

The service while entering the hotel was wonderful. However, since check in wasn't until 4pm. We had to sit outside and wait for almost an hour. Since, this was our first time visit Florida and it was a gorgeous sunny Florida day we didn't mind. honestly, I wish we had known so we could have packed our swimsuits in a small piece of luggage and spent the hour by the pool.

The room was amazing! We had plenty of space!!! The room was a tad bit dusty. But very well decorated. You wouldn't realize you were staying in a hotel.

However, something to be noted they have a BOSE CD player, so bring CDs. Also, the walls are very thin, so you can hear what the room next door is up to. Also walking in the hallways you can hear who is taking a shower.

The pool is very nice! It is about 4 ft deep. And you have a beautiful view of cruise ships coming or leave port, and disppearing into the water.

Right across Route A1A (a busy 4 lane road) is the Fort Lauderdale beach! The chairs and umbrellas are for rent, the prices were quite hefty. Otherwise there wasn't much to do without a car in this area of Fort Lauderdale. We took the water taxi. We took the full trip around and then got off at the location with the mall. It was a nice area. Definatley you must visit Las Olas BLVD. Also, there are no grocery stores in the vicinity of the hotel.

Upscale yet comfortable, staff was warm

Upscale yet comfortable, staff was warm & friendly and remembered your name. We were very satisfied. The inside of the room door was dirty, which really stood out in such an otherwise clean & beautiful setting.“It was a beautiful hotel with beautiful, luxurious rooms. The view (we upgraded to a balcony room) was wonderful and peaceful. We felt so relaxed and well cared for. Our stay here was one of the highlights of the trip. It was close to the airport and cruise line and close to fine dining and local fun areas like Las Olas BLVD, which we really enjoyed. Thank you.”

The perfect "second honeymoon"

From arrival to departure, we were treated like royalty. Staff knew our names, and were helpful at every turn: booked our golf, our evening cruise, got directions. New menu was excellent (dinner, breakfast), but pricey. Turndown in the evenings was right on time, and plenty of towels!! Ambiance and privacy was just what my wife and I needed for a winter break. Thank you, Atlantic Resort and Spa, for an hospitable stay.
