Overcharged me for my room

The place was old and kind of dirty. They also charged me for my room online and then again in person. They have yet to repay me my money. There are a lot of hotels in the area and I wouldn't recommend staying at this one.

Excellent

I stayed here for a week while I was in town for continuing education. The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean and the maid service was excellent every day with fresh linens and towels. I had a work desk, with internet access. A recliner to relax. A soft, comfortable bed to rest and sleep in, plus a ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave and excellent view from my window. The staff was A+A+A+A+A+! They also have two washing machines and dryers if you need those. For the price it was more than worth it! I have stayed in bigger hotels and have not gotten the service like I did here. I am rebooking again to stay for another weeks worth of classes. I recommend Super 8.

My long term stay worked out well

I traveled to Wichita from Boston to work at the nearby Air Force Base for 7 weeks. I stayed during the hottest part of the summer. My room was cleaned every day, they brought a small refrigerator to my room (at no charge), the air conditioner worked great, no strange smells or insects in my room, and the bed was very comfortable. The early morning free breakfast was very convenient to start my day. During my stay it was very quiet at night except for the couple that stayed one night in the room next to me with their newborn that cried for hours, I have kids and understood their pain... I would stay there again!

Should honesty come 'First'

If my rating on renting this room was based on the managments honesty, then it will be very low.
My husband was on his way to Okla.to be with his dying brother the last time. In his greived state of mind, he left his new cell phone in Rm.#133 on August 24,2007. As soon as they got to a phone able to call you, your manager stated no phone was there. When he stated only the motel maid could have seen it before another renter could ,so she must have it and would she check, the manager got rude and said there was no way the maid could have seen it or taken it. It would be common sense that until it was rented, it had to be a cleaned room, the phone was in open sight on the table. When we attempted to call the phone, it was on, but no one would answer. Then fifteen minutes later when we called it, it was 'turned off', which says ''someone" had the phone. I since have had it closed by Verizon.
Our rating is based on your "Honesty". That is first in our book.
You lose...on this score.

I've stayed at a lot of budget motels

I've stayed at a lot of budget motels in my day, including one in Europe in which the toilet was a hole in the ground. This one ranks among the top three worst places I've stayed. The beds were horrible -- the bottom sheet didn't cover the mattress, so we slid around on the bed all night. My kids ended up on top of the bare mattress by morning -- gross. I didn't sleep all night for having to arrange the sheet every time I turned over. When we complained to the front desk, we were met with an indifferent clerk and her indifferent manager who couldn't be bothered to apologize for our discomfort. When I asked that she request housekeeping to secure the sheets somehow, at least tuck them in completely, she just stared at me. And we were next to a stairwell, and the ceiling literally shook every time someone passed by. Horrible.
