Stayed in a two bedroom suite with kitchen. The room was on the second floor with no elevator which made it very difficult carrying two huge suitcases and cooler. We asked for a room on the first floor, however they did not have any. The room was very dated and dingy, however this was supposedly their best suite. The bathroom light wouldn't come on and maintenance came and moved it a little and it worked. We didn't shut it off after that. Room keys didn't work at first and had to walk in the rain back to the desk to get new keys. The gutter above our door was clogged, creating a waterfall effect. Asked maintenance to look at that, and that's all he did was look. Didn't attempt to fix. The dishes in the room were dirty and no coffee provided with coffee maker. Was told they only provided coffee for the single and double rooms and not the suites. Planned on staying there for our entire trip. I went to the front desk and they sad that they normally charge more for the quiet side of the building, but moved me there regardless after I put up a stink about the extra fees they wanted. I also called the hotel before I booked about their free continental breakfast and they said they had a full continental breakfast. When we got here - the first meal was surprising - if they could buy cheaper products they would have, I think they scraped the bottom of the barrel. No variety, no taste, and nothing for the kids. Dont ask for seconds. There is mold in the bathroom - around the fixtures too - how healthy! We went out for a drive as a family - leaving our regular items back at the hotel room - including backpacks and our camera. We returned early in the afternoon to find our hotel room door was being held open by a towel on the floor, the cart outside, but no maid in our room, she was down the hall in someone else's room. We walked away thinking of being polite and giving the woman some space for her to do her job. When we came back we all took a nap, but the next morning when we went to the Park - wouldn't you know it - no camera to be found anywheres. The hotel manager didn't believe me, pretty much called me out. The hotel lobby looks nice but the rooms are far away from it, and next to the dumpsters behind the i-hop. Dozens of bug corpses cover the corners of the room. The bed had urine and other unsettling stains on the sheets, along with several pubic hairs. Breakfast was a sticky bun, though the hotel proudly boasts a continental breakfast. Shower controls worked backwards. The lights came on several seconds after you turned on the switch and blinking. There were surge protectors everywhere which was odd. The neighborhood was scary looking. The pillows, towels, toilet paper, and toilet were all hard as a rock. The worst place we stayed in. The TV remote did not work and the bottom lock on the door did not work. I would never stay here again. The shower was dirty with hair in the drain.
