The free shuttle was great on the days I wasn't feeling up to the walk. Free parking was a plus as well. The breakfast area is very tiny and in the morning is very hard to manuver around everyone trying to make it to their appointments, let alone find a table. We had problem with the service. Twice, our room was never cleaned and most mornings we were there, the breakfast supplies were rarely stocked and as soon as the lady brought out more of something, it was gone! I understand that all the hotels in Rochester can charge a high price because they will always be full due to the Mayo, but it is a bit of a punch in the gut to see your final bill after your stay for treatment at the clinic. The hotel is located approx. 9 blocks west of the Mayo Clinic and directly across the street from St. Mary's Hospital, so very conviently located. We arrived in Rochester at 11AM and we were allowed to check in early at no extra charge. The staff was very friendy , professional and accomodating. Our room was EXTREMELY clean and spacious. We found the bed to be very comfortable. A nice complimentary breakfast was served in the AM. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and we would deffinitly stay there again. I just want to add that this hotel offers free onsite parking which is difficult to find in this area. Very clean, very good breakfast, free parking which was great. Friendly staff. I've been there three times. Had a free upper neck/back massage last time I was there in the lobby. Loved the accomadations and will be back. We were able to check in early. The decor in the rooms is very nice, not the typical jewel tones that every other hotel uses. The bed was great, very comfortable and they had nice linens. They have a nice breakfast with egg and sausage buscuits. They ran out of food items quickly, but it was a busy morning and they replenished them in ample time. I have two complaints. The parking is quite tight, if you have a large vehicle park in the back. Also, the pool was very small and looked like it needed to be cleaned or needed a better filtration system.
