Our room was outdated and badly in need on some cleaning. The bedspread was faded and the chairs needed to be steam cleaned. The bed was horrible, lumpy, and weird blankets. Be sure to bring your own pillows. We had a room overlooking cannery row and yes it is loud with the restaurants right there and the trash pick up daily. I think that's just the price you pay for the location. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the room but had to call the service back up 2 out of the 3 days because they didn't bring some of the things we ordered (like milk for our cereal). The valet service was nice but kinda locks you in to the area unless you don't mind paying for multiple trips. It was a double. The room description said "view." It's reasonable to assume, in a coastal town, that this means a view of the ocean. Our room was on the street and the noise was a bit much most of the time. Really bad at night, until 1 AM, with a band on the bar's patio right across the street.
