Mattresses are pretty hard, but aren't most at hotels/motels and the decor a little outdated. The amenities could use some improvement, i.e.: no fridge, coffee maker in the room upon arrival (who wants to wait for the fridge to get cold enough to actually be able to use it!) you have to request these items. Continental breakfast consisted of doughnuts, juice and coffee. The close location to Cedar Point was great, basically it's right around the corner to the entrance. The pool/hot tub were clean enough, but there were a few cracks that needed to be repaired. Overall not a terrible experience, one of the better places in the area (I guess the hotel/motel owners in the area figure they can get away with less than great facilities since most of their guests have been to the Cedar Point Parks and are probably too tired to complain much!) We were looking for something to accomodate us without being scattered around. There 3 room suite sleeps 8 people with 2 bathrooms. I didn't have to worry that my children would be in a separate room. It's great to see a family owned business these days. Too many people stuck on corporate business. You can really see that this family cares about there property and there customers. The reason i stayed at sandusky ohio was because we were going to go to cedar point the first day and soak city the next day. So we go and every thing was nice about the hotel and then at the front desk they asked what we were going to do at sandusky and we told them and they gave us free tickets for cedar point and soak city. A hotel that still has grass & trees. This family owned business is definitely a place to recommend to your family & friends. The pub @ Graham's is a quaint place to unwind after a day at the park.
