Great Location, but bare minimums

It was so conveniently located! Really nice staff! And it was clean. However, it was the bare minimum for the rooms. It reminded me of a summer camp cabin, or a dorm room. I definitely got a great price on it and was really happy with my stay.

Simply & clean rooms, great location

Hotel is good value for money in the midst of more SoBe, around the corner from the Setai and Shore Club, at a fraction of the price. Very basic hotel with minimalistic furnished rooms. Location is great, just within walking distance from about ever

Great, basic hotel especially for young people

The crowd here trends younger, but it wasn't quite when I stayed there. Reminded me of a european style hotel. Sitting areas outside, small lobby coffee shop. Great location - which is key in Miami.

Excellent hotel and staff! Great location... quiet as it is slightly off the beaten path, but still close to everything. My room was beautiful!

Great mojitos, but an unfriendly front desk staff

For the price, the hotel was great. Right on SoB in the middle of everthing. The bartender was great and made the best Mojitos we found anywhere in Florida. The front desk wasn't very friendly, acted like you were bugging them by checking-in. the room and bathroom was small but normal for these older hotels on SoB. We only stayed one night. If staying multiple nights, would go somewhere else, kind of cramped.

Don't go!

Don't believe the website - this is a very old hotel and way overpriced. There is no pool, no drink machine, no room service, you pay extra for ice, no refrigerator, rusty water when you turn on the tub and alternating scalding hot and cold water in the shower.

Awful hotel - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This was one of the worst hotels we ever experienced. The room looked completely stripped - the bed didn't even have a bedspread (just a sheet), there were no curtains, furniture consisted of one chair (50's vintage, and old color TV and a dirty shower. No elevator was available, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. We had to ask for an ice - obviously an ice bucket is considered extra. Even though the windows were closed, we could hear people talking outside as if they were in the same room. After looking at the room's accomodations, we immediately asked for our money back. We were told that we could not cancel because we did not give the 3 day cancellation notice and would therefoe be charged the full price of the room. We asked for an upgrade but were told that no other room was available. FYI...we paid $160 for this room. Hardly a bargain.
