      <title>Great facility, horrible desk staff</title>
      <link>http://www.travelpost.com//hotels/Sooner_Legends_Inn_Suites/r371393</link>
<description>First, this is a nice place; it has the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. Each room is unique and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is well prepared and tasty. My only complaint has to do with a rude front desk staff and their failure to fulfill a promise. I brought a school group (4 rooms, 2 nights) for a competition at OU and my one female student fell ill at the last minute so I needed to cancel her room. I was told that I would have to pay for her room for the first night even though we were cancelling the room at 10AM; they then told me of their 24-hour cancellation policy. This was the first I had heard of the policy, and would not have booked there if I had known of it (school groups often have to cancel rooms, and I've been doing this a long time!). After much heated discussion, the staff agreed to refund the room price but that it would take 3 weeks to process. That was 6 weeks ago and I have received nothing, and my call was not returned. Their overall attitude was very hateful, and at one point the on-duty manager told me that "You're lucky we're even letting you stay here at all!" Hardly a way to run a service-oriented business. Having worked hotel desks in the past, I know that their hostility and rudeness was inappropriate. My group will not be staying there again, in spite of the really great nights' sleep I got there.</description>
