Beautiful hotel, with very nice service. We had a penthouse floor room with a huge terrace overlooking Beverly Center. Only slight downside: No coffee maker in a room (I am a big coffee drinker) but Starbucks is right down the street.
They offer valet parking for $29 a day, internet access is 9.95 for 24hrs. Overall a great hotel. Would definately stay here again.

Love the fluffy blankets and the overall decor of the room.Valet parking is expensive and very limited rooms with double beds. If you're a couple or a single business traveler, this hotel is perfect because the rooms are quite nice. Request for the larger rooms if you want more space. It's near Beverly Center and convenient to many LA amenities. Valet parking is quite expensive. All hotel staff is very courteous and helpful.

Location, things close by, safe neighborhood, helpful staff, beautiful place! Can't use wet bar as a refrigerator without being charged for removed bottles, local calls cost money, parking expensive. Beautiful modern, pet friendly hotel, helpful staff, very courteous, great location, across the street from mall, close to restaurants and not to far from Hollywood walk of fame, Sunset strip though a cab or car is needed.

Simon LA is located in the Sofitel Hotel next to the Beverly Center. Celebrity chef Simon creates delicious comfort food dishes. The restaurant has a very large lounge area as well as a nicely designed restaurant section.

This large space is a great alternative to all of those cramped bars in town. It's located just across from the Beverly Center mall and inside Sofitel Hotel. The room is decorated like its French counterparts - dark wood, marble and brass dominate the room. The crowd is a nice mix of tourists and locals who enjoy a different way of lounging.

Stayed at Sofitel Los Angels for 2

Stayed at Sofitel Los Angels for 2 nights during March Break. The 4 of us had 2 SoFab suites (each suite is 850-sq.ft. big). The spacious room and upscale amenities made our stay so wonderful we just didn't want to leave. The newly renovated bathroom was amazing with a big patterned glass window that looks out to the bedroom & you can watch TV while taking a shower, or you can turn on a switch and the glass will become frosted so it's not transparent any more. The shower stall had a hand-held shower or you could use the less powerful but nice big round ceiling shower. The 2 suites had different lay-outs & one spacious bathroom had 4 shower heads so a couple can easily and comfortably take a shower at the same time.Valet parking was great and we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for our car. Overnight parking was $29 per day but there were always at least 2 people around you and at your service. They did make us feel like Royalties. Opposite the hotel near the gas station there was a DASH bus to Hollywood Blvd (Kodak Theatre, Mann's (Grauman's) Theatre) and each journey was 25 cents (10 cents for senior). When we arrived at Kodak Theatre we found out that we could park the car there for 4 hours for $2 only as long as we bought something from the Theatre shops (even a coffee would do). I didn't recall reading about the cheap parking from other travellers, otherwise we would have taken our car there so my parents didn't need to wait for the bus that ran every 15-20 minutes. Sign up online to eat at Todai Japanese Buffet ($5 off) in Beverly Centre opposite the hotel. It's yummy!
