Never again...

The pool was cloudy. The room was dirty. In the morning we found a note in the bed stand from someone who apologized that they couldn't clean the room because there was too much stuff on the beds. The elevator was broken. The "free" breakfast had food that looked like it was they type that if it wasn't eaten it could be pulled out for the next day...and the next day. The bed was really uncomfortable and the tv didn't have a clear reception. There wasn't any HBO. Really, with all the hotels I would not suggest this one.

Clean, convenient and a nice place to stay for a cedar point trip. The lights did not work in the bathroom the next day, but really there were no major problems. We were happy with our stay.“I would definitely stay again for an overnight cedar point trip. I had two young children with me and felt safe with them. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

Not the best! Just OK!

After being assured our 2 rooms would be held until late evening (went to Cedar Point) we had our rooms changed due to "electrical problems?" Not sure I believed that! We had reserved 2 NS-DB rooms with Micro & fridge. Ended up with 1 NS-King & 1 NS Q with conference style room attached with 2 pull down out of the wall Q & 1 sofa bed (had no micro or fridge). Front desk made it sound like a beautiful suite! It was not! Not sparkling clean, but thought is was OK until my daughter & I came home with bites on back & legs from our room. The breakfast bar was not good. Waffles served only on weekends, basically cereal, drinks, donuts & a little fruit. The staff was very nice and friendly, however.

The staff was nice and helpful but the hotel was a mess! The outside looks great. The inside was run down and dirty. The pool was cloudy. We won't stay here again.

Won't be staying here again!

pros: NoneWe just stayed at this hotel and what a huge disappointment it was. We had stayed here several times in the past, but it has been about 5 years since we have been to the Sandusky area. We immediately thought of Sleep Inn because of our past experience, but it has changed alot. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the pool was gross. It smelled in the pool area and the water looked dirty and when it was complained on and the staff seemed clueless as to what was going on. Everything seemed to be out of order or did not work. They advertise free wireless internet, however, no one that brought laptops seemed to be able to get online at all. When going to a simple sight such as Ebay or Google, the page would come up Page Does Not Exist! We all know those pages exist. I talked to 2 other guests that had the same issues with the internet. The ice machines on 2 out of 3 floors was out of order, the coffee machine was out of order for most of the horrible free breakfast that they provided. We got down to the free breakfast only an hour after the 3 hour breakfast began and they were almost out of everything. It wasn't until we were almost finished eating what we were able to pull together some 30 minutes later, that they finally filled things back up. I can't even explain how utterly disappointed we were because we had very good memories of our past stays at the Sleep Inn, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this will have been our last stay at the Sleep Inn on Milan Road.

This hotel was good for the price and had a very convienient location to Cedar Point. It was nice to have Applebees restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. The room was clean and nice, the hotel was extremely quiet and no one bothered us. The only problem was that the front desk staff was always on the phone and trying to do five things at once and there was always just one person there, and the lobby sort of smelled like there had once been a fish tank there. Other than that it was a really nice hotel to stay in. It was easy to get to everything we needed to get to and, since it was just my fiance and I there for the weekend, it was nice that there weren't a million kids running around making noise. It seemed to mainly be adults.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The hotel is convenient to the highway yet only a few minutes from Cedar Point. The housekeeping staff was awesome. The room was clean and tidy. My daughter loved the pool!. The hot tub was not working properly when we first got there due to a storm the previous night, but upon notification the hotel staff had it up and running within minutes. We will stay there again without a doubt.
