One of the highlights of the trip was this hotel, very very nice indeed. This hotel was fabulous! It is a great value! They did not charge for parking and provided a FREE shuttle to downtown! The room was really nice, had a gas fireplace and everything, just like the pictures! The room was absolutely spotless and we enjoyed coffee and a complimentary breakfast on third floor overlooking Lake Union. The staff is wonderful, and the location is easy to get to from the Mercer Street exit. If you don't need to be in the heart of downtown, the Silver Cloud is a great place to stay. There are many restaurants across the street. You can travel four miles down East Lake and you’re in heart of the University district. Go over the hill and you’re on Broadway. A wonderful free breakfast, 2 pools and spas, exercise room and free use of computers, printers and copier made for an enjoyable visit. The staff was helpful and the free shuttle was an added bonus. Great room with fireplace and microwave (and a little bit of a view.) Several restaurants were within walking distance although most were quite expensive. Joey's was reasonable with nice views.
