For an airport hotel, this was one of the nicer places I have stayed. Conveniently located and full of amenities (be sure to bring your suit for the lovely indoor pool and spa), it was a great value for the price. The staff was helpful, the coffee good, and the rooms large, well appointed and very comfy beds with lots of fluffy pillows.

Low Value - High Price

For an ordinary room: $200, plus $28 in taxes, plus $15 for parking, plus $10 for internet plus (just to complete the insult) $15 for the cold continental breakfast buffet! If you don't mind the razor wire fencing, the Sheraton Four Points near by is a better deal for the business traveler.

After hours at the computer comparing reviews and prices and crime indexes, we finally, reluctantly, decided on this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The service was great and the pool was the cherry on top. The only thing negetive I would have to say is that it is too far from NYC. We went there specifically to visit the city and were aggrevated more than once with the means of getting into the city. We were on a budget and the taxi ride straight to NYC was $80.00. We took a cab to Penn station in Newark for $25.00 and then rode the Path train to the city for $1.75 a piece. Once in the city we used the subway which was very confusing. Nothing was worse than when we tried to go out and come back at 2 am. The Path train switches, it left us in a station with no exit to the street for 1 hr. CREEPY. and finally we got to the hotel at 3:30 am. We left the city at 12:00 midnight. Other than the distance from NY I would definately recommend this hotel...especially if you have the money for cab fare the entire way.

Cheap price compared to hotels in Manhattan

Overall the hotel was average...not bad and and not great. The pool is in the lobby which I thought was odd. The room was large and clean. We wanted a place to sleep for our night out in NY, this was the cheapest place. Getting to NY was easy. We caught the airport shuttle to the airport and hopped on NJ transit train. It was 15 dollars one way. If you do a lot of business in the NY area...this may be cheapest but not trashy place.

It was my first time in New York and I was pretty excited because we went there for the parade. The meals were alright and what i admired most was the kindness of the workers there. I left my phone on the 3rd floor and didnt notice it was missing until i was in my room. When I was calling it from a friend's phone i was able to reach the person who had my phone. I was so happy when he told me where it was. If he wanted to, he could've kept the phone. but returned it to me pretty fast. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, everything was well-maintanced and overall was an unforgettable experience.

My boyfriend and I spent a beautiful week-end at this hotel. The reservation was under his name: David Lee Gainey, and we had stayed in Room 545. It was an awesome room, the service was excellent, and everything was perfect. At the time of check-in, I was not aware that he had made plans to just drive up and reserve the room....IT WAS A SURPRISE TO ME. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I am a Starwood Preferred Member, or I wasn't sure if I should give my member number at the reservation desk even though the reservation was under his name....Anyway, we are now planning on going back, and would love to have either Room 545 again, or another room on the same floor and right side of Room 545 where I can see planes either take-off or land.....We would like to also have a microwave in the room and a small table and chairs for 2 because there is a big space that could use something extra in it. But other than that, THE ROOM/HOTEL/EMPLOYEES/RESTAURANT/SPORTS BAR/etc. WAS PERFECT.
