The hotel looked like it hadn't been rennovated since the 70's. The underground parking garage had narrow lanes and tiny spots. The rooms were small and dingy and the staff didn't come by to clean mine until 2pm when I had come back for a break be

A bit pricey but FANTASTIC location!!!

I stayed in this hotel during the AAACE conference. My mother and brother came up to visit while I was in Denver. The location is AWESOME! You leave the hotel and step onto 16th Steet Mall. My mother and brother were able to go sightseeing during the day (FREE) to nearby places such the state capital building, US mint, and a few museums while I attended the conferences. At night, we would go to various restaurants on 16th Street Mall. We even went to the casinos and did a day trip to the mountain.

It was bit pricey ($139 per night) for what the actual room consisted of 2 beds, a desk, dresser, and bathroom. Then again, I was there during peak season. Our hotel room was cleaned daily. As for the hotel, the staff (hotel check in, housekeeper, waiter, bartender ) but the concierge had an attitude. She was neither helpful nor friendly. We often felt as if we “bothered” her if we asked or sought information. Most information was found out from asking locals and info obtained from the vistor’s center or booths on 16th .

Visited Denver for the Western Stockshow- hotel is located close to many restuarants, shops and tourist spots- really liked the free bus transportation to 16th Mall. The staff was courteous, and informative about best places to eat and visit. The room that was provided for me was large and spaceous and views of both downtown and the mountains. Although hotel is under construction, I was never disturbed or inconvenienced. Bed and pillow very comfortable. I would defintely stay again.

Horrible Hotel, Don't waste your money!!

We stayed here for a convention during their renovation. It took 4 hours to get a room (we arrived at 1:30p), the bed in our newly renovated room (said we were the first to stay there) was so hard that we could barely sleep in it. The bathroom was tiny as was the room. We complained to management that someone had come into our room when we were gone (had our privacy sign out, came back and the privacy sign was inside the room), they told us that no one had been in there but our used towels were missing too. In general extremely overpriced, paid $138.00 per night plus $21 per day for parking (which wasn't easy to find because the lot is also available to the gen public for a fee), the food was awful and around $20 per person at any meal time. Would not recommend.

Though the property was under construction, the staff did a great job on giving me a room away from the work.
I arrived at the hotel before 11 a.m. and was allowed to check in immediately.
The price was great! The location was great! It is right on the "mall" street. I took the bus from the airport and got off at the 16th street station and hopped on the free bus shuttle to the hotel. It was only a $9 ride vs. the normal $45 cab ride.
The room was not real large, but I would stay at this property again.

The location of the hotel was ideal as it is connected to the walking mall. Easy walk to about anything you want including; shopping restaurants, theaters and museums. They also have electric buses running up and down the mall on a regular schedule. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for an extra blanket and it arrived promptly. Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a major renovation. The pool was closed and the work out room equipment was not being maintained. There is not a restaurant currently at the hotel, but will be after the remodel. It should be very nice when completed. I would recommend the Sheraton as a good place to stay when visiting downtown Denver.

The front desk clerk wasn't very friendly the first day. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and I was staying in a suite. The hotel was in two buildings and the desk in the building where I was staying was unmanned, so to speak. I didn't feel like there was any security in the building because the only employees I saw were the housekeeping staff.

Good hotel, awesome location

I stayed here for a convention after the conversion from Adams Mark to Sheraton. The best thing about the hotel is its prime location right on the 16th Street Mall. Tons of restaurants, lots of shops. A free bus can take you up and down the mall, and it runs often.

The layout is confusing because the hotel is made up of two buildings, the tower and the plaza, linked by a bridge. The 22-story tower was built in 1960, and though it has obviously been renovated, I still recommend the newer (1990s?) 8-story plaza building. Most plaza rooms face outward, like the one I got, but some face into a large light well.

I stayed about 5 nights and didn't have a problem with the room or with the staff. My biggest complaints? The pool was cold (in July!) and far too few trash cans in the convention area and conference rooms.

Great location, close to Mint, State

Great location, close to Mint, State Capitol, Coors Field, downtown and the 16th st mall. Parking was $19.00 per day, a bit excessive I thought. Used priceline and got a room for $70.00 plus taxes and parking.
I would stay here again.
