I won't be coming back.

The hotel is a bit pricey for an average hotel. I had 2 main problems there: charged for overnight parking and plumbing problems. I was charged almost fifty dollars for a stay of three days to park overnight. When I checked in, I was given a tag to park. When I left, my bill had almost $50 fee of overnight parking. I was told that the parking garage is privately owned. They didn’t mention that when I got my tag. At the convention there, guests were complaining of plumbing problems which I myself had too. The room itself was small and the bathroom had no ventilator. The restaurant was good. I had the buffet twice. I do recommend it. The food was the only good thing there.

Overall Experience was GREAT

The staff are professional and went out of there way to make my stay comfortable. The lobby was clean as was everything within eye view until entering my room. For such a beautiful hotel, take more pride in the rooms. The carpet was stain in the room foyer. The one of two toilet paper rolls is coming out of the wall. Little things that can be fixed within an hour. Take pride in your hotel; it is a nice place.

AWESOME

We were staying here for our first out of town soccer tournament. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for our kids.
The food was great and was always ready. Bill had a smile on his face and greeted us every time we saw him.
The staff always told our girls good luck and asked them how they did when we got back.
Rooms were great, some noise from the band on Saturday night that was playing across the street.
Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Thanks for making our first trip a great one.

Under a construction site

The hotel itself seemed nice in the lobby but the rooms were nothing more than your average Days Inn.

Once we retrated to our room we realized that they were remodeling the floor above us! They had put us under their construction site. Meaning starting at 7:00 in the morning hammering into the ceiling above our head, drilling and sawing. We could hardly believe that a hotel of this "caliber" would allow their guests to be placed under their construction site!
When we brought it to their attention they seemed less willing to accomodate.

The hotel location can't be beat. But other than that it is a no way!

need some higher management to stay in hotel

hotel was going though renovation and some things couldnt be helped like pool being closed (although we were never informed about this during any phase of the check in process). Help in bar and lounge dining area were very good although severly understaffed making the wait rediculous. (seemed to be a management cutback situation) We have stayed at many starwood hotels and usually our experience has been extremely positive. This was not, and we ended up checking out a day earlier and moving to a different hotel.Found the breakfast buffet to be terrible. Dirty plates and lousy food although we just went once (for obvious reasons).

It's a dump, but in a good location

The Austin Sheraton is a in need of an extensive remodel to the suites.

It is not a terribly clean hotel.

For the business traveler, you will find this hotel uncomfortably noisy.

I had prompt service when eating breakfast.

The only advantage of the hotel is that it is right next to I-35--easy to get around. It is also very close to Loop 1 (Mopac).

Probably will not rush to stay here again.

The room was really average, however the bed was comfortable. Also the bathroom looked really cheap, not like a four star hotel room. This hotel really needs a do over bad!! sort of depressing since it was not that nice.

The room seemed a little dated and crowded but it was sufficient. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I was surprised that a hotel of this caliber and at this location did not offer free wireless internet, and at the high cost of internet access. This certainly makes a difference to business travelers.

Mostly the whole hotel was kind of dirty. It didn't look like a lot of care was given to clean up. I also noticed a lot of room service dishes left for long periods in front of the rooms.

It’s a very comfortable hotel. I wish that the wireless service purchased in your room was also available in the hotel lobby; that is, that you didn't need to pay twice.
