Best hotel I've ever stayed in! Can't say enough good things about the Seaport, My son and I went for a long weekend, and the staff from start to finish could not do enough to make our stay perfect, they got our tickets to Blue Man, made dinner reservations, and when our flight was cancelled, got our new flights for us and even gave us a discount for the extra night we had to stay. Great rooms with views, room service was fast, would definitely go back, no complaints whatsoever!

I recently attended a wedding here after moving from CT. The views were phenomenal! Food was fantastic!! Our hotel room was great too. All of the hotel staff greeted their customers warmly. we were upgraded to a room on the 16th floor with harbor views. All in and all a great hotel!

Overall nice hotel, but here are the things that make me not to stay there again:
-The on-site restaurant was closed for dining, only in room dinning option was available.
-The room was nice and we got a room with good views of the water, but the plumbing noise (water flushing, draining, showering) from adjacent rooms was very disturbing specially at night time.
- The bed sheets were not fitted, so they kept slipping off the mattress.

The quality of the room was not like a four star hotel at all. Staff was really not that friendly at all. They charged an extra fee for parking that was I believe $29 that was not told to us at until the very end. I wouldn't have minded being charged the extra fee if we had been told about it in the beginning. They were doing work near the lobby and it was incredibly loud. You had to practically scream to be heard. This was being done right near the restaurant. Of course they were still going to charge us full price for the food even though we would have been eating in a very uncomfortable setting... So, we had to go out to get food and it was cold. No breakfast places within walking distance. It was very annoying. If we had known that they were doing work and it was going to be so uncomfortable staying there, we would have stayed somewhere else. But, of course, they don't tell you that when you are calling them to make the reservation at FULL PRICE...Overall, I am VERY unhappy with the stay. I would never go back.

If you want decent food with horrible

pros: Free parking, decent foodIf you want decent food with horrible service, you've come to the right place. First of all, the hostess was very disrespectful. Not 15 minutes after being seated me and my date was asked if we wanted our check after we were done with our appetizer. Second of all it took 35 minutes after we were done with our appetizers for our main course to come. While waiting for those 35 minutes, there were bread crumbs all over the table and the waiters never came over to clean it up. There was an obnoxiously kid who turned out to be the chef's son who was screaming at the top of his lungs. After we were done with our main courses, we were never asked if we wanted some desserts. To top it all off, the restaurant was heavily understaffed. Having the hostess and Manager running around, cleaning, and setting up tables. The manager, Dean Romano did a better job at cleaning tables then did at managing. I can understand why they didn't really care, because to top off the bill, they added 20% gratuity fee on top of the bill. No wonder why they don't really care much for customer service. Terrible experience!

Aura reinvented

whoa there....there's a new sheriff in town and her name is Rache Klein. Formerly of OHM sh has brought her fabulous talents and her excellent Sous chef to Aura. A foodies delight!!!

Yes the hotel still adds on 20% tip ( stupid at best) and the space is sort of grand central station with private paries to he left and bathroom priveleges to the right, but overall the experience was worth the hassle. Wait staff were knowledgeable and professional.

all dishes are innovative and extroadinary from steak and eggs to steak ad yellow watermelon
Best news is that there is no wait on weekends because the hotel clears out and reservations are easy ( so far)

Go....you will not be disappointed with the food.

this hotel was pretty good. We had a discount coupon (which you can find online) It was a fabulous time a year, a bit chilly by the water. There was construction going on, so the noise volume was high. It was good, but without the coupon, I would probably find a better deal somewhere else. It was nice. If you don't particuluarly care, and only want location and clean, this hotel will be just fine.

Business hotel close to everything

Great location for views over the city and harbor, and facilities abound for special events, meetings or conventions. International clientele due to World Trade Center proximity. Comfortable, beautiful furnishings and high-end amenities like a full fitness center with indoor pool and spa services, restaurant and cafe, and complimentary wifi throughout the hotel. One thing that makes this place stand out is a "service inclusive" model so you don't always have to be digging through your pockets for tips.

We went to Aura for their fixed price

pros: Ground floor entranceWe went to Aura for their fixed price pre-concert dinner. The service was some of the worst I've ever had. It took more that two hours for three simple courses and a 20% tip was added to our bill. The portions were small and the food was unremarkable. I've had much better in Boston.
Overall, it was a poor experience and little value for the money. Look elsewhere.

Not quite worth it

pros: Excellent staff, rooms fully stocked, pretty viewsThe hotel itself is pretty and in a good location and the staff was very nice as well. However, I was surprised that they charge $18 for the breakfast buffet. With how expensive the hotel is, I would expect at least continental breakfast. The rooms had all the latest technology but the decorations were very bland and not something you would expect from a high end hotel. Overall though, it wasnt so bad. I would probably choose a place that is closer to downtown if you plan on going out in boston.
