They are just across the street from the south end of the boardwalk. The place was clean, the pool was nice, and the staff was helpful. The location would be better closer to the center of the boardwalk as there is a block of no shops after the first six or eight on the far south end. Parking is also tight, I had to drive around the lot for a long time until a spot opened up and then we did not want to move the car until our last day as we would have been stuck at parking meters otherwise. All that said for the price and for the fact that this is a popular beach location at peek season what more could I ask. It is obviously older, but the motel room itself was decent. I am a clean freak, so it may not be fair to judge them on a clean motel room especially at my high expectations of cleanliness. It was basically clean, but I thought they could have vacuumed around the corners and baseboards of the room better. I could see crumbs and what I thought were peanuts along all the walls. The air conditioner did not cool the room as much as I would have liked. I found myself and my family very warm during the first night. We were looking for a cheap fun vacation for a few nights and we chose the seagull motel. Would I stay there again? Probably. What did win me over, was that my daughter spilled a large amount of a cherry drink on the white sheets and comforter. I tried to clean it up and get the stain out. When we did come back to our room later there were fresh sheets and a new comforter on the bed. Nothing was said. I thought that was nice. It is a far walk from all the action, but it is a nice walk. It made us work off all the "food" we consumed during the vacation. They did allow us to keep our car there the last day until we left. The parking lot was cramped and it had broken glass everywhere. It is far from the rides. Very small, and the pool was cold like ice. it wA 80 DEGRESS AND MY SON COULD NOT GO IN CAUSE IT WAS FREEZING.and lots of high school kids.
