We knew the Travel Lodge would not be a great experience, but we could have never anticipated how bad it would be. The door to the room didn't seal on the threshold and thus it didn't close right. The water pressure in the shower was so minimal it just dribbled out. The bedding was dirty, old and mangy. We could hear every conversation in neighboring rooms. The other patrons were loud and obnoxious as they wandered the parking lot drinking all night. We did not feel safe and we will never stay there again. It was in a beautiful convenient location. The view was beautiful. However the room was filthy and smelled damp kind of like wet dog. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shower floor was interesting to say the least. It had some kind of material painted on that was peeling up which left the soap, etc. underneath. Very unsanitary. We had booked 2 nights, but left after the 1st. We were ready to leave the 1st night but would have been out the money. Dirty unsanitary hotel. Should be deemed contaminated by the city!
