WE HAD AN OCEANFRONT ROOM. THE ROOM WAS NICE ENOUGH, BUT WE WERE TOLD IT WAS AN EFFICIENCY. WE PLANNED ON BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES AT THE HOTEL AND TO GO OUT FOR DINNER. WE'LL, IT WASN'T LIKE THE EFFICIENCY WE HAD A FEW YEARS AGO AT QUALITY IN BOARDWALK. THERE WAS A SMALL REFRIGERATOR (IT WAS PUT IN CROOKED AND THE DOOR WOULDN'T SHUT TIGHT) AND A VERY SMALL MICOWAVE. NO STOVE!!!!!! WE HAD 4 ADULTS AND OUR 21 MONTH OLD GRANDSON. WE HAD TO CHECK HIS MILK EVERY DAY TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OKAY SINCE THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WASN'T TIGHT. IT COST US MORE BECAUSE WE HAD TO GO OUT TO EAT MORE OFTEN. WE DID USE THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST TWICE, BUT IT WAS ONLY MUFFINS, DANISH AND BAGELS. I AM DIABETIC. CAN'T EAT MUCH OF THAT STUFF. WE DID DO BRUNCH TO SAVE ON MONEY. OUR DAUGHTER MADE RESERVATION OVER THE INTERNET. WE WENT TO THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT WASN'T AS EXPENSIVE AS THE OTHERS WE HAVE BEEN AT OVER THE YEARS. THEN WHEN WE CHECKED IN WE WERE TOLD THE COST WAS $200 MORE THAN WHAT WE WERE QUOTED ON THE INTERNET AND CHARGED TO OUR CREDIT CARD. MY HUSBAND WENT IN TWICE TO ARGUE THE PRICE. THE MANAGER TOLD HIM "THIS IS OUR PRICE!" ALSO, WE DID NOT GET SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER. FORTUNATELY, WE BROUGHT SOME WITH US. WE DID GET CLEAN TOWELS, BUT OUR SHEETS WERE NOT CHANGED THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. HOW DO I KNOW THIS? MY HUSBAND HAD A CUT ON HIS NECK AND IT PUT BLOOD ON HIS PILLOW. THE NEXT NIGHT I LOOKED AT MY PILLOW AND THERE WAS HIS BLOOD. The staff went out of its way to be helpful and courteous.Not as convenient to the boardwalk as I would have liked. The hotel accommodations were on par with the price in comparison to other hotels in the surrounding location. The pools were excellent and it was close to most off the beat restaurants. Oceanfront room... and the two pools and quiet private beach... It consisted of watery juice, muffins and bagels with one old 2 slice toaster that everyone was waiting to use. I will never go to this hotel again. It was small, cramped, old and dirty looking. I went to the front desk to request a pillow and a few extra towels, I waited for 10 minutes. When we went to sleep at 11:00 pm. We kept hearing sounds above us like a bowling ball being rolled on wood floors and thumps like they were dropping it. This went on until about 12:00 AM. I called the front desk and she explained that it was the sliding glass doors making that noise. She said she would call tem. A few seconds later, it sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. They were stomping and being even louder. It continued for another hour and I called again. This time she was rude to me and said she called them already! I did not pursue it, I was afraid they would see my room parking number in my car and flatten my tires. I did not sleep all night. The room was hot and the air conditioner did not properly work either.
