I was greeted for an entire week at the door by Jaba the Hut bumming smokes. The room was filthy with a con-caving mattress to go along with no towels or shampoo. The bathroom seeped smoke from the rooms around. The cleaning staff did not change the bedding once the entire stay. The carpet in the room was not only filthy (according to my socks) it was also sticky. Bikes were abundant for the many long term guest without vehicles. The last night of the stay a young out of it gal sat on the door way step crying and yelling for who knows what or who. One was alright, but the other one first given to us had not been cleaned yet from the previous users...and we checked in at 9:30pm! We then were assigned another room, which was ALSO dirty and had not been cleaned. The third room assignment had finally been cleaned, but there was no compensation or anything for the room conditions. It was an uncomfortable stay after having 2 unprepared rooms and the rooms we ended up staying in were not amazing by anymeans. EVERYONE AT THE FRONT DESK WAS NICE AND HELPFUL I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS HOTEL AT ALL. SEEING AS THOUGH IT WAS MY SECOND TYME IN MADISON AND ALSO MY SECOND TYME MAKING RESERVATIONS AT THAT HOTEL. I ORIGINALLY SLATED TO STAY 2 NIGHTS BUT MY GIRLFRIEND WANTED TO COME TO MILWAUKEE TO CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY SO YA KNOW I COULD NOT BE MADD AT HER FOR THAT. SO I ORIGNIALLY SPENT LIKE 50.00 TAX INCLUDED FOR 1 NIGHT OF SERVICE.
