We were leaving for a cruise and needed a place to stay for the night. Our room had BED BUGS! BEWARE! When the staff was contacted, housekeeping came. They sais "Those bugs aren't that big" and seemed irritated that we called. We were upgraded to a suite on a different floor because they would not refund our money. The new room was adequate with no bed bugs, but I got absolutely no sleep. The valet was rude and never at his post, and it is impossible for more than 2 cars to pull into the overhang driveway area. The people who worked at the front desk were not helpful. When we booked our room, they gave us the impression that we were booking a SUITE. Apparently to this hotel a suite is a room with 2 double beds and a couch in it. When we asked the front desk staff for help with finding medicine for a sick traveler, they advised us to walk down the street to the Hyatt (in downtown Miami at 2am). The bathroom is terrible and to top it all off my husbands phone and my jewelery was stolen.
