Hotel breakfast exceeded our expectations. Staff was wonderful.Rooms were a bit outdated and smelled a bit musty. The rooms were very private and the full kitchen was a plus. This hotel was an old apartment complex turned into a hotel. Walls were very thin and the noise went right through them. We had to walk outside in poor weather conditions to get to our room which was on the second floor of this apartment complex. It felt more like a home, than a hotel room.It would be difficult if I was in a wheelchair to get around the hotel. I stay at 30 different hotels each year, for the past 5 years and this was one of my favorite hotels. It reminded me of renting a condo in Colorado. Private entrance, fireplace, great breakfast the next day and very friendly staff. Soft sheets and towels.Outside was under construction. The Residence Inn, Green Bay was a perfect place to stay over a holiday weekend. There were no business travelers present, there did seem to be some groups of young people (student groups?) and families. Many people enjoyed the outdoor pool till 9 at night, but I could not hear the noise in my room. My room was very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were a nice extra. The hotel was perfect for my stay which was just a stopover. Please note: the Residence Inn is actually in Allouez not Greenbay. Everything was perfect. The staff was so nice and the check-in was lightening fast. I've never felt so welcome at a hotel, it was great. The room was perfect. Clean and quiet.
