Did not advise me of $100 non-refundable pet deposit! I was not aware and made it know at check-in that i had a small dog, 5lbs. Really could care less that i was unaware of the fee. That was a deal breaker on a reasonably priced room. I understand the need to clean a room after a pet, sometimes, but i have stayed in other hotels that did not charge. My dog is not messy and doesn't "go" in the room. I could see it being refunded if there wasn't a problem but they didn't even offer. Would never stay here again, with or without pet. Room was ok. A little outdated with the exception of the flat screen tv that had poor quality signal. Bathroom was dim and the exterior of the room needed some work. Looked a little run down. Only good thing was it was near a nice area of town, Botanical Gardens. This is a great location near the zoo. Only a block away. I could have walked but it's kind of a long way around and thru the parking lot. The first night we stayed and went to they symphony. Close to highway that takes us straight downtown ft worth. We had lots of dining options and able to find everything nearby. We had a loft studio type room with a double bed, murphy and pull out couch. Also had full kitchen. We had plenty of roomo to stretch out expecially when my nephew decided to stay with us at the last minute.
