The price was better than the other area hotels and the amenities were better. Now as guests are calling to book their rooms they are told $169.00 a night, cash upfront, no credit cards, no refunds if cancelled. The reason given for the increase is the Milwaukee area is hosting a major event and hotel rooms are booked all over (Milwaukee is 40 miles away). This is completely unfair to us and our guests. Both sets of parents of the happy couple have contact the manager of this hotel to work out a fair compromise only to be hung up. We have since been told that any of the block of rooms that are not used the hotel will still charge full room rate. We have a July 30, 2008 release date of any unfilled rooms on the Room Reseversation Form.
