We were in Raleigh for a wedding and it was a nice cheap place to stay. This hotel is great for anyone that's just passing through and doesn't want to blow a bunch of cash. The room was very spartan, and was pretty clean. Television selection sucked but they did offer games, etc at a per usage charge. There was no iron in the room, and the staff declined to send one up for us. Parking was a little tight, as we had to drive around a couple times to find a space. Hotel was located right by the freeway (I-440), and very easy to find, as there is a huge red sign that one simply can not miss. Check in and check out was very fast. There was no refrigerator in the room, which was a very big downside, as we had brought beer for the night. Speaking of beer, we had to drive around a bit just to find any. Bed was pretty comfy, and shower was nice and hot. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was low. The only drawback is that there is very little in the way of local restaurants. The Raleigh area is odd that way. The staff let me check in a little early which was helpful, however, my room wasn't made up until the 3rd day I was there. Carpets need to either be replaced or re-stretched.
