We live in Florida. This is the best deal for a pet friendly hotel. No pet fees. We call it Red Woof Inn. Dixie loves it. Location, Location. Great area, no free breakfast but McD's is right down the street and whatever else you want..It is in a good section on I-drive.

What a dump!

This place has just two things to recommend it--it's fairly cheap and it's located near the convention center. But beware--you get what you pay for. The place is seedy looking and the room amenities non-existent. There's no hairdryer, no in-room coffee, no iron or ironing board, and no tissues, for starters. Toiletries consist of two tiny bars of soap and a squeeze packet of shampoo. The walkways around the property are dusty and stained, and the wooden staircases to the upper level look like they are on their last legs. The view overlooks a major highway, there's no restaurant on the property, and the pool and pool furniture are old and tired. Oh, and you have to buy wireless access--no freebies here.

This was the lowest end, trashiest motel I have stayed at in some time. The entry door were damaged as thought the police had kicked them in and the rooms smelled of old must and cigarettes. I did not want to leave my family in that room.

The rooms, although small, were positively spotless. There was no sign of mold or musty smell which is common in Florida. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This one is a keeper.

We went there for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly suprised. When we first got there the room had a mildew smell and asked for a different room. They gave us a new room imediately. The room was perfect. We stayed in the business king. It is only about a mile away from SeaWorld. Would definetly stay again for a quick getaway. The pool isn't anything great, but if all you are doing is sleeping there and spending your days in the park, then this is the place. It is pretty much right between Disney and Universal. Great Value for the price.

Room: Our room smelled old. Musty or something, but bad.
It was a decent size. On the small end, but close to average. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was really nice--it looked like it had recently been redone.
The room was not clean, though. We found a Gatorade in our fridge and a pair of socks under the bed! I don't want to think about the smaller things that we didn't even see.

Location: Excellent if you are doing something at the Convention Center. It's right across the street. A Denny's and a McDonald's are on the same side of the street as the hotel. There are also a bunch of other stores and attractions nearby, and there is easy access to I-4.

Extras: I don't think that I have ever staid at a hotel that didn't have complimentary little bottles of shampoo...except for this one! There were 2 bars of soap, but nothing else. When we called the front desk and asked for shampoo, the man said that he'd have to check. When he came back to the phone, he said they didn't have any!
There was a nifty little coffee (and hot chocolate) machine in the front lobby, but the cups were super tiny. There was also no complimentary breakfast.
There was wi-fi access at the hotel, but it was only available for an extra cost!

--Overall--
Not a good place to stay. We paid about $100 with taxes for the room for one night. (2 twin beds) It was not worth it. There are much nicer hotels in the area for half that price!

For the price they charge I thought it was a great hotel. It was all redone. I stayed in Orlando and I used my free time to walk down International drive where there is all types of things to do.
