This is a transient hotel with prostitutes. The back windows on the first floor were shot out. We arrived at the hotel to find a man with no shirt leaning out of a 5th floor window. We didn't bring our bags in b/c we wanted to see the room before we committed for the night. When we got to the room the rug was so dirty I didn't want to take my shoes off. There were large rust color stains all over the carpet. We asked to see another room that the manger showed us willingly. The room did not have a TV in it do the manager had a helper bring the TV over from another room. I couldn't take it anymore and got on the elevator. We ran into my aunts and cousin on the 5th floor. We both said at the same time that we were NOT staying. We did not get the price on the internet or that they quoted when we reserved the room. They had no towels to give us. We had to go buy wash cloths, soap and cups. No irons. Dirty rooms, walls were filthy. Other peoples' trash in drawers. Staff was very inprofesssional, hard to tell who worked there. If it wasn't for the sake of not drinking and driving, we would not have been there. NEVER got it .. Air conditioner did not work.. fire alarm was going off .. lights in the elevator and halls went out .. THE PLACE IS FALLING APART .. ITS A JOKE .. We made reservations and checked in around 10 p.m. Our reservation was lost, but found because I brought my reservation information with me. We reserved a king room, but they put us in a double room. They graciously moved us, but to another double,this time without TV or AIRCONDITIONING! The elevator didn't work much and we checked out. Needless to say we drove around until 2 a.m. to find another hotel, had to go all the way to Kansas City and missed the races. Horrible experience!
