From the minute I walked in the door to the moment I left, I felt incredibly welcome and honored as a guest. The room was fabulous--the jacuzzi was wonderful and I could relax in it while catching up on some TV--one of the best combinations ever! Everything was clean and the bed was absolutely dynamic. Consequently, she was a bit short with us when I had a concern. Our suite was very nice but someone before us had burned popcorn in the microwave and stunk up the room. The maintenance person was very helpful and tried to get the smell out and also replaced the microwave. We still spent the night in a smelly room though. No discount offered. I'm not the type of person to ask for one. But that receives a mark-down. It is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants--closest to what was voted the "best Mexican restaurant in Springfield". On a weekday evening, the place was so packed, I could only find a spot at the bar, so it must be true!!!The hotel is comfortable, expecially the jacuzzi suites.
