We were in Jacksonville for the Gator

We were in Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl and found this hotel on an online travel website. The hotel was an older hotel but it served our needs very well. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were there on New Years Eve and it was VERY noisy throughout the night but the following night was quiet. The hotel gave us choices of transportation to Alltel Stadium which was very helpful since we did not know the area at all. If you are looking to stay at a very nice, fancy, hotel, I would not choose this hotel. However, if you are looking to stay at a hotel that is inexpensive, I would choose this hotel.

I have stayed here several nights and at different times.

It is not the Ritz Carlton but, it is comfortable, clean and Friendly. If Tushar is on duty you will be taken care of well! If not ask for him he is customer full service!

I loved how they were concerned about my needs and my space. They were very helpful in all aspects. If anything the ice machine could of been closer but I didn't ask if there was a closer one either so it even out.“When I first walked into Ramada the atmosphere was quiet and smooth. I walked straight up to the counter and the salesperson was as nice and polite as he could be and was very helpful for my needs and also we interchanged a conversation while he was checking me in. Then when I got to my room, he called to see if everything was to my satisfaction and if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place; good people and great place to go for business trips. Thank you!”

Worst hotel stay ever. Dirty, dirty room, bathroom, Bed, Pool, walkways, etc. Do NOT stay here! Our weekend was ruined, I left in tears. The pictures on their website are bogus.

The manager was very cordial, very polite. Once it was time for checkout though, the staff became combatative, saying checkout was at 11, and they could move it to 12 (we had extenuating circumstances that resulted in staying out until 6 am) [lost car keys] and in mid sentence, angrily say 11 o'clock. That and the paltry sum of towels that we were given, and no refrigerator to boot, are the only real complaints.

This hotel is in a bad neighborhood. There's a long list of other icky things: the door chain was broken; the vanity was stained; there was mildew deep in the grout; the water was barely lukewarm; the bathroom door had severe water damage and a bad cover-up paint job; the carpet should have been replaced years ago and the chairs were stinky and very badly stained. I would not stay in the hotel, given the choice.

This place was horrible. At nightime at 2 AM there were gangsters outside the room knocking on guests doors including mine. No security present. Lobby smelled like rotten food. The breakfast bar looked empty and distasteful. The bathrooms were unclean. The attendents were not proffesional. Overall I would not stay here again ever.
