The shuttle service to Mayo Clinic is like no other. They have many scheduled times that they will happily take you, and they will also take you anytime you ask and bring you home up until 11:00 p.m. Many hotels end this service at 6:00 p.m., which often doesn't fit with what is going on at the hospital. The pool has a large "flume" slide and basketballs and basketball hoops. The hot tub is large enough to fit many people instead of the tiny 2-3 person ones we have seen at some other places. It was great to start each day with the continental breakfast so we didn't have to run around and get something at a restaurant. The Apache Mall is nearby, along with other shopping and restaurants. The shuttle will even take you to those. We stayed four nights. We found out there was no difference between deluxe and standard rooms.
