Friendly staff but were unable to provide a plug for the bath tub so I could have a bath. When we booked the room we thought we’d be closer to shopping, restaurants, etc. The restaurant across the street was out of business so we ended up driving to the opposite end of town to find a place to eat. On the plus side there was a beautiful breakfast room where a continental breakfast was served in the morning. That was a hassle to get one more night. Also the place is seedy, not overly clean ( I think the bath had not been cleaned) badly in need of a decent paintjob, mould by the bath etc. It was a hole basically. The bedspread I am sure was living, just glad I only stayed one night. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, the photos on the website are NOTHING like the room we had. They had just renovated and the price was cheap. I called the hotel the day before because there was no hot tub on the profile, I was told they heated the pool to 30c so we thought that was ok. When we got there the front desk boy was pleasant, we went upstairs to our room. It was renovated, but very cheaply done, not modern looking at all, but it was clean. We also backed the trans Canada Highway and it was loud (FYI ask for a room away from the Highway)We changed and went down to swim. The water was FREEZING! We called the front desk boy and he came and looked at it. He also brought his manager and he said it would warm up eventually. The jets had luke warm water coming outinto the freezing cold pool, my husband and I knew for a fact it wouldn't be warm until tomorrow. We decided to leave the hotel right away, swimming is a big part of our holiday. The frontdesk boy initially said we couldn't have a refund because it was past check in (check in is 4pm it was now 4:15) Then said maybe we would have to pay a percentage. But after talking to someone on the phone and offering us a room with 2 queen beds he said we could leave if we wanted without charge. I felt bad for him because it wasn't his fault.
