It is old and dingy and has two tiny elevators for 16 floors and only one was working at a time. While we were there they were spraying for rodents. Paying for parking is one thing but waiting until they could find someone to get your car (20 minutes) was another. The apartment dwellers are not happy with having the rooms rented and express their feelings openly. Filthy. Helpful front desk and valet. The hotel is actually an apartment building shared by retirees and students. It is filthy, the air conditioning did not work well, and the floors in the room were sticky. It is more than dated, as the lobby definitely reminded us of an old age home. It is across the street from Johns Hopkins Univ. but it still does not rate as a 2 star hotel. Avoid! had mice over many months; odors from restaurant on 1st floor come up through ventilation and stink; had 3-4 cockroaches in my kitchen every time I walked in; exterminator never came; wouldn't fix apartment when necessary; horribly mismanaged; unexpectable noise because they don't have courtesy to notify you before drilling and working all around you--not a serious place!!
