I did not stay there personally myselft, but my experience with the staff members have been great! I have been meaning to give this place a review for a couple of months now. My baby sister, who is only 19, was visiting Indiana from Florida by herself, and was not old enough to actually secure her own room. I did not want her sleeping at some rest area or truck stop by herself. (She's a petite 5 foot 105 lbs woman.) Michelle and the staff there have been wonderful in allowing me to secure a room for her on her way up there and back. My sister informed me Michelle and others made sure she was ok and taken cared of. ( I did not ask them to look after her, just to allow her to stay with my billing.) I don't know what I would have done without this wonderful bunch at Holiday Inn! I believe every older sibling or parent would love to have a great group of people such as these look after their younger loved ones should they ever travel alone. They made me feel right at home! I came in to this hotel from a 10+ hr. drive and I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the building and it wasnt that "Hi, how are you today?" speech like the staff was required to do it. It was very sincere and I felt right at home. The breakfast was terrific! The two ladies that were working in there awesome. The rooms are improving. This hotel is currently under needed renovations which is great. The girl at the front desk gave me one of the rooms that had gotten new mattresses and I slept like a baby :). Now I see why it's free. Really the juice and fruit were nice. I know you're redoing the hotel so I'll have to rerate it after my next stay. The breakfast buffet was really good and was included for all four of us. Pool was very nice, very kid friendly. Breakfast was like any other breakfast, buffet. Restaurant is pretty empty during evening and is somewhat slow. Nice place.
