We had booked two rooms for our family

We had booked two rooms for our family to stay while we visited my son in Ft Campbell before he was deployed to Afghanistan. We arrived late the first night, and were greatly disappoined. There is no elevator, we had to lug our luggage up 3 flights of stairs, the lock on our room door didn't work, the bathroom was dirty (there was hair and a used shampoo bottle in the shower) and we couldn't sleep that night because of the traffic on the major street on which the hotel is located. Everytime a car passed, it sounded like it was going to come through our room! We complained, checked out the next morning and went to the Riverview Inn for only a few dollars a night more, twice as nice!

Don't be stupid like me!!!

I read the reviews before I booked the room. Thought ok, some good, some bad so it is probably ok but not great. Chose it specifically because of the indoor pool and the price. Should have turned around when I pulled in the parking lot but had already booked the room so decided to go for it. Had asked for a non smoking room. Was given a smoking room - a foul and disgusting room. It was soooo dirty. I can live with "out of style" and not updated but this was filthy. The carpet, drapes, and bathroom were nasty. My white socks were black within minutes of walking on the carpet. There was food stains and crude on the box spring. The bathroom has black stuff growing in the corners. Words cannot express how dirty this room was.

So we decied to go swimming. The heated indoor pool is anything but heated. I specifically wanted my son to be able to swim but it was way way way too cold.

The next day I went down for the continental breakfast. I guess it would be ok, as far a continental breakfasts go, if the lobby and eating area weren't so dirty. They don't offer much but that isn't really even the issue. Who wants to eat in the middle of filth.

Lastly, you can hear everything in the rooms. I could hear the people next door, the people in the parking lot, the traffic, the people walking to there rooms, leaving the bar. I guess they can't help who walks through there lot but you can expect some shady characters.

Oh and P.S....
They act like you are going to steal the towels when you ask for extra. We were given two and had three in the room. Who would of thought we would need more towels, DUH! When I asked for them I felt like they were put out by my request and acted like I was going to take them or something. One good thing - shower had great water pressure! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

OMG...Where do I start ??

Last Visit:
October 2007
I had booked a room for my son's birthday party so he & a few of his friends could have fun after viewing this place online. Big mistake...it was a night from HELL. We checked in at 7:36 p.m. yesterday & checked out at 12:02 am this morning...we couldn't tolerate the terrible odor & overall nastiness any longer, my little girl actually got sick from the smell of our room!
Here's a list of what I experienced:
1. Cockroaches in room.
2. Two lights in room didn't even work.
3. The terrible odor of this hotel especially our room was just sickening.
4. The recreational area was a joke! Both pool tables were broken, but there was NO "out of order" sign on either. I lost money in both tables and after informing the desk clerk they never even offered to give me my money back. The lady at the front desk (which was facing the swimming pool)kept getting on the boys for splashing and they were the only ones in the pool or for that matter the recreational area....it was just us. HELLO!! NEWSFLASH...it's a pool & kids are going to splash in a pool.
5. Overall hotel was very dark and dingy...plum scary.
6. The clientele they allowed to "hang out" in their parking lot was more than likely dealing drugs for they kept going & coming with their loud music blurring.
7. And you would think someone would have asked why a woman alone with 3 small children would be checking out & leaving in the middle of the night.
8. Overall this hotel is just terrible! I will be informing everyone I know to STAY AWAY!!
This morning when I took the boys home instead of saying "I'm glad you had a good time"....I had to say "I'm sorry!"

it was a nice hotel but the rooms were kind of missing some things and the room service would enter the room when the DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door.

Avoid this DUMP!!

This hotel is dingy, dirty, and in terrible condition.
I returned to my room at the end of the day to find my door open (nothing was gone), but the Manager never contacted me or did anything to even apologize for the horrible breach of my personal security. The continental breakfast was lousy, the tables were dirty, and it was more expensive than any of the nearby hotels. This place is a dump and should be torn down.

The staff was incredibly kind, since I was a fire victim displaced from home. They treated me with respect, courtesy and went the extra mile to ensure my comfort.

Never again,do not stay at Quality Inn

My husband and I decided to stay at the Quality Inn Downtown for our honeymoon and also my maid of honor stayed there as well.I looked on the Internet and saw everywhere this room rate was around 120.00 yet when I called I was told 145.00 and when I paid it was 170.00 for one night.Mind you I did get the hot tub room I can ensure you I was overcharged for this room. This room wasn't worth a penny over a 100.00 a night.

I will list all the faults I found:carpet was dirty and old,bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been on.(room 148)We both woke up with major backaches this morning.Even after paying as much as I did I was told I still had to pay a 20 dollar phone deposit. And the free Internet they say they have, well they don't.

Our laptop has never had a problem getting Internet anywhere and we did not have a signal there. We were told we would have to pay a 100.00 dollar deposit to get the bridge to make the Internet work. That wasn't worth it to me.The provided breakfast was only dry cereal and oatmeal and waffles you have to make and stale bagels and bread.Cheap coffee and juice and the coffee was way to strong.

The pool that is inside and is suppose to be heated was not heated.Yes it was a little warmer then a normal unheated pool but far from being considered a heated pool.

The hot tub that is located by the pool that my new husband and I were going to use didn't even have water in it.They had a water hose hooked up and was filling(it looked dirty as well) it back up.Of course that was right before the pool and hot tub hours were about to end.At 10.00 pm.The cable in the rooms were awful.

They did not have decent channels to watch. The offered us only one little ashtray in our whole room.Mind you this is a two room, room. The sheets on our bed were to small for our bed size.I ended up sleeping with the sheet and my husband ended up getting the blanket thats very thin.

Now my maid of honor complaints were that she stayed there for three days and housekeeping never came once to clean the room or make their bed or anything. The did not have one single ashtray(this was a smoking room) in her room nor did they bring one after they called and ask the front desk for one.

When she called house keeping to come clean the room because they haven't done so since she started staying there they came a total of once and all the maid did was take out the trash and leave some towels. They never put fresh sheets on her bed or anything else for that matter.

And before she even reserved this room she asked for a room by the pool and was told there wasn't any.Yet the whole time she stayed there there were empty rooms all around the pool area.We both we're very disappointed with our rooms and service.

The only thing nice about my husband and I room was the hot tub.And I mean the only nice thing.I feel I was ripped off!! And I told the lady that at the front desk. Now we will have to have a makeup honeymoon at a different hotel and this time will check out the room in advance, and rates.

I do not recommend any newly married couples or anyone for that matter staying there.I also feel sorry for all our soldiers that have to stay there but they have no choice for the Army sends them there. But now I know why. It's a run down, over priced, ran by foreign people.Just plain nasty not a place for anyone more so children.

Don't waste your time or money. And if you have kids beware the maintence guy who works there will kick your kid out of the pool for being to loud or for whatever reason he sees fit he will ban your child from the pool area.

That happened while we were swimming a boy was playing with other kids in the pool and got a little loud and this black guy who works there came up and told him to get out hes banned real loud and rude to this child.

Breakfast and Rooms were nice,

Breakfast and Rooms were nice, housekeeping was terrible! If management would make sure rooms were kept cleaned, this could be a 4 star hotel! My sister found a plate of food under bed-they moved her, but the heat did not work..in that room. The stairs are not for the elderly..I enjoyed my stay for the price and rewards-my room was nice but we had no maid service during our two day stay. Front desk-Excellent! Location is near lots of restaurants! Would stay again, but my sister will not! I booked 8 rooms for my family, they were 90% pleased!
