She said i could have a better room in location when rooms were cleaned. I was there at the checkin time , and had no time to wait for a Better room. My room was WAY in the back of the Complex. No Securty cameras that i sen on my way to my room, and room numbers are ODD on on side and the even on the other side of the building . The room it self was great. The floor to ceailing windows i did not like casue all i seen was a huge parking lot and some trashy looking area. The Staff at desk was great and freindly when i checked in. IT NEEDS A LOT OF UPDATING. It's simply fair. They have a lounge with a happy hour, but the lounge closes early. They serve breakfast, but I did not participate. The rate I got on the room was well worth it, however, I'd rather spend $20 extra for a nicer hotel in a better location. The doors coming from the stairwells to the rooms do not close all the way. Snuffed out cigarettes in the stairwells near the elevators. A couple local people reminded me to make sure my car was locked. I think there are many better options, but if you're just looking for a place to lay your head, this is it. A Double Tree and Hilton are located directly to the north, while two Marriott hotels are located to the northeast. It's an interesting neighborhood. Go a little south on Industrial and the streets are bordered with strange auto repair facilities, a gentleman's club and "massage" place. But that is it-much different than other properties in their other sister chains. The price is cheap but only recommended for a overnight stay while your rig is being serviced nearby.
