By far the nicest place to stay in

By far the nicest place to stay in Puerto Penasco. Great sandy beach, no peddlers. Awesome pool and a nice golf course. It's about 20 minutes outside of town so be prepared to drive if you don't want to pay the $26 u.s. for the dinner buffet. Great kid's center helps the adults with some down time. The suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen, so you could cook if you like, though that kind of defeats the point of a vacation.

This hotel should be an all inclusive

This hotel should be an all inclusive to help people staying there with children and maybe even lower their buffet prices.

Very enjoyable, but isolated. No night

Very enjoyable, but isolated. No night life. One BR suite is large with one bathroom & two sofa beds in living room that have trundles. Liquor on premises is expensive so if driving take your own, & other supplies also. Food is good & not overly expensive for as nice as the resort is. Very family friendly. Good service. No entertainment or sports. Beach is great, really warm. No peddlars or timeshare pressure like everywhere else in Mexico. No public phones to use Mex. phone cards, no cell service, & calls from rooms are expensive. Still under construction.

I have never had service this bad!

We did not have anyone come to clean our room at all. We had to tell our housekeeping exactly what we needed. They were only willing to offer towels until we told them exactly what we needed.

Then we told the front desk and they said they would take care of it and housekeeping did come by after that, but they still did not give us good service. The place is not very clean at all. The pool, bar, game room is not open. It was not a very pleasant stay!

This resort is located about 10-15

This resort is located about 10-15 miles from town making it very secure and exclusive yet close enough for dinning and shopping. The beach was amazing in comparison to the beaches in town! No glass or trash; very well kept. The staff was very helpful and spoke english. The pool was exquisite and crystal clear. This is, by far, the nicest and safest place to stay in Rocky Point! Overall you must see this place to believe it.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in

We checked into the room on 8/1/06. The air conditioner in the room is not working, we went take a shower and the water was only dripping out of the faucet

I called the owner, and he came to our room and checked the A/C and said that it was fine, he said to leave it on for 30 minutes and it will work.

We asked to change rooms, and he refused. I asked for a refund, he refused and said that since I signed the check-in form, I will pay for the room.

Thanks! I paid for two rooms in one night, what a total rip off.
