The food in their fine dining restaurant was prepared by a highly trained chef and the lodge was very clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable with great views. There were some really nice hiking trails and it was only 1/2 hour from Ashland to go see a play. These photos are copied off their website - one of the outside of the building and the other from the bedroom of their suite. The pictures of this place must have been taken 20 years ago, when someone took care of the place. I was very dissapointed when I pulled up to a place that looked like it had been deserted. The inside wasn't any better. The furniture looked like it had been purchased at a second hand store and was none too clean. Not a bad room in the house. The gormet food was to die for. Mushroom soup, German potato salad, sausage quiche, and all the fresh baked breads were just a few of my favorites.
