This is an OK place to stay in Wildwood

This is an OK place to stay in Wildwood if you are looking to avoid the poor quality motels in Wildwood. The price is competitive and the service is excellent. However, the room size and amenities were a little lackluster. They have a very nice pool and lobby area, and is an overall good pick if you're looking for a place to simply shower and sleep.

Nice Hotel but no way $87

Great Hotel...started staying there 5 years ago after our old Do-Wop era motel was raised for condos. Just note however, you are not staying there unless you book a year in advance...and you will be paying 3X the $87 rate posted on this tourist site.

Great Hotel

The hotel was great, rooms a little small, but nicely decorated. Very clean and nice pool area, only a few blocks from the boardwalk. Bad service from the management in the restaurant, but not the same as the hotel management. The hotel was A++++++, stay away from the restaurant.

The place to stay in Wildwood

We've been going to the Pan Am for more than 30 years, and I have not seen a place I'd rather stay in Wildwood.

Just one problem: the motel is constantly booked in season, crowded with families, and some rooms start to look and feel shabby before they are done over.

The lobby, pool, restaurant and halls are always clean and beautiful, and so are most of the rooms most of the time. Some nights are disrupted by rowdiness around the pool.

If there's something you don't like, it helps to speak up. The staff tries hard.

Best Hotel in Wildwood By Far!

I am thirteen years old, and I have been going to Wildwood for the past 13 years of my life and we always try to stay at the Pan Am when we plan to come to the beach. Some years, there were no rooms left, so we had to stay at other hotels like the Aqua Beach, and the Isle of Palms (WHAT DIVES!). Each year, we were disappointed when we couldn't stay at the Pan Am. They just redid the rooms and they are so pleasant to stay in. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel is so lovely and it's just a great place to stay, whether you sit by the pool or on your room's balcony. The rooms are so clean and refreshing, not to mention the beds are terrific! Everything about the hotel is magnificent! I love Wildwood and the Pan Am and I never would want to stay anywhere else.

P.S. the only thing I would change at the Pan Am is that there is not enough counter space, but other than that, this hotel is an 11 on a scale of 1-10!

Excellent Place for a Vacation

My family & I has been coming to Wildwood for many years. The last 15 years or so we have been staying at the Pan Am and very pleased. We have had to change our room numerouse times because of needing more space with the grandchildren over the years. The staff is very polite and accomodating, this goes along with the restaurant personnel also. We will of course be down in a couple weeks for this summer trip..

Years of excellence

For many years (around 7) we have been going to Wildwood, and we havn't stayed in any hotel besides the Pan American. The entire staff is friendly, and very accomidating. If you have any questions they are always happy to answer. They will also book the same room for you the next year so that when you go back, it feels like your just returning to a home. Of course, a big thing with hotels is the cleanliness. This hotel was up there on the charts. There is never a dirty spot, and being right on the beach like it is, that must be really hard to do. The hotel is just wonderful and I can't wait to go back. Another thing you may have noticed is the fact that now, Wildwood is being overrun by condos that buy out the hotel owners. Luckily when you stay here, you don't have to worry because the people who own the hotel, own 5 other hotels, and run the boardwalk. So, you are safe from the hotel being taken over by condos. But its not run like a big corportaion. Instead, its run like everyone there is your family, and looking out to insure you get the best visit possible.

The BEST PLACE TO STAY!!!

The service was out standing, staff made you feel like you were family, the room were great and I did not even miss my own bed.
The pool was alway clean and ready for you to get in.Just wished the pool hours were longer!! cause at night when you get back from the broadwalk you sometimes want to get in.

But we will still always stay at the best.
See you in June 2007!!!
