1-star service from a supposedly 4-star hotel

Ordered a room with two double beds which was confirmed the day before. Received an extremely small room with one full-sized bed. The hotel was full, but they still refused to refund our money to allow our group to find another hotel. So, we had to squeeze a cot into the room. In addition, this visit started with the valets telling me that the ski rack on my Subaru wouldn’t fit in their garage and that they were too busy with the incoming wedding to park my car in their back-up garage. So I had to park it myself and walk 10 minutes in the pouring rain. I was completely unimpressed. There are much better options nearby.

I will never stay there again.

The rooms are claustrophobic. The beds too small for two people to sleep. You cannot move in their bathrooms. This hotel does not deserve to be considered upscale. The only nice thing is the location, but there are better hotels for the same price in this area. The staff is rude. My first room had a view at a brickwall. The second one had a one foot by three feet window. I felt like in a submarine. Not for the claustrophobic. They charge you 50$ more for a queen size beed, though the rooms are supposed to accommodate two. The oldest operational hotel and it shows. I rather stay in a tent or a Motel than at the Omni Parker. This hotel is in dire need of a good cleaning and renovation.

I was there to visit my step-daughter who is going to BU. We had dinner in the more formal restaurant in the hotel and she said it was the best filet mignon she has ever had...and let me tell you she has had many! The hotel service was great! Centrally located and only 1 1/2 blocks from the "T" (metro tranportation)

We loved our stay at the Parker House.

We loved our stay at the Parker House. It is centrally located and an easy walk to the Park St."T", Boston Common, Quincy Market & waterfront and South Station. The hotel has an age old charm with friendly and very helpful staff. Our 7th floor corner room was quiet, clean, spacious, and had a view of the Old City Hall. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The restaurants served delicious and reasonably priced food. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Omni for 4 nights and loved it. The staff was courteous and helpful. We were upgraded to a nicer room than we had originally reserved and had a great view of the Boston skyline. Parker's bar is a great place to unwind and have a drink and the food in the restaurants was very good. You're in the middle of historic Boston so within walking distance of most sights or the T. Great Place to stay and we'll be back!

Charged too much!

Charged over $370/night for 4 people. Gave us the smallest room they had. We felt like sardines in a can. It was a beautiful hotel and the service was very good. The location was close to every thing historical. Perfect with no car or if you have one they have parking. Still feel like they charged to much for the room they gave us. (outragously high for off season)

Wonderful location and history. Pure Boston.Rooms tend to be small. (But really part of the authentic feel of the place).“The Omni hotel chain is to be commended for maintaining this Boston treasure so well.”

The hotel was close to all the attractions that I wanted to see in the city. The hotel charged me for checking to voicemail messages that weren't mine.“The hotel was nice. I asked about the double beds and was told the hotel was at capacity After that I asked if they would be able to at least bring a roll away bed. I was told yes and that there would be no charge and then I was told we couldn't get the roll away because they would have to carry it up some stairs. Also, the ice machine didn't work on my floor and the heating unit in the room had exposed wires. Not dangerous for adults but could cause a lot of trouble for children.”
