Got what had to be the last room on the day before going to Savannah. Room was incredible with a view of the river. Planned to visit some of the antique shops and spent almost the entire day in the ones near the river. There were so many. Breakfast provided a variety of good food. The wine and cheese receptions in the evening were great. Good conversation with the other guest, large selection and quantity of finger foods and cheese. The ice cream in the room each night was always a nice touch.

One of the best B&B's I've been at. Can't beat the location for events like New Years, with the fireworks right outside your window. Great shopping so close you can go out for dinner and shop without walking more than 5-10 min. Didn't use my car the entire time.

Would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit Savannah. I've visited the city many times, but this was as good as it gets.

Just a lovely experience, enjoyable wine & cheese meet and greet every evening. Friendly and attentive staff. Really comfortable bed! Nice continental breakfast with other guests each morning. Surprise ice cream treat in your room each night. Be aware that it is on the river so you'll be awakened by the ships horns, as I suspect you would with any place on the river. Just quaint and enjoyable.

Our stay at the Olde Harbour Inn was lovely. Our room was a mini apartment with a view. Located on the river and river walk. We were in walking distance to everything and anything. The bed and breakfast staff was friendly and did an excellent job of getting anything we wanted. The nightly wine and cheese reception was great. It was an excellent chance to meet different people from all walks of life. The Colonel's and his cronies did an excellent job every morning for breakfast. It was yummy. I would recommend this place to everyone.

For about $225 a night, including all

For about $225 a night, including all taxes, we had a spacious suite with a full kitchen and a king sized bed. Our windows opened onto the shops on the quiet end River Street near the Waving Lady statue. Fully air-conditioned, too! Well done continental breakfast each morning, wine and cheese each evening, and around 8:00pm "The Colonel" or Chris would come knocking to deliver ice cream treats to your freezer. You must be able to do stairs and be able to walk on the cobble stone alley and the Lincoln "ramp". We had stairs leading down to our room, down to River Street and up to Factor's Walk. There is parking behind the hotel. It is $8.00 for each 48 hours. You display a sticker which gives you extended parking privileges in an otherwise difficult place to park. Believe me, it is a deal! I figured the fee into the $225 as well. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful.
The location is an easy distance from restaurants, bars, tourist shopping, ferry rides, trolley tours. You can't go wrong with this little gem.

What a wonderful Inn. Had planned to

What a wonderful Inn. Had planned to stay at another hotel and was prepared to spend a good amount for a hotel room that looked like every other hotel room in America. Then my daughter told me her boyfriend would be coming with us and I knew I couldn't pay for two rooms. The two bedroom suite at the Olde Harbour Inn was so much more beautiful and was basically the same amount as one room at the chain, upscale hotel down the street. It may seem expensive but in reality, it's a real bargan. Beautiful suite - actually an apartment. Great view. Easy access to everything. We parked the car when we got there and didn't get back in it until we left. It may seem far on the maps but it's an easy walk to City Market and other sights in the historic district. The staff was so wonderful. Ready and willing to be of service at any time. It seemed as if everyone took pride in the Inn and felt as if they had part ownership and seemed willing to go out of their way to make the guests comfortable. Complementary breakfest served every morning. Wine and cheese social each afternoon which makes it fun to learn about the other guests. Journals in the rooms from previous guests. Ours dated back three years and some of the stories were very heartwarming. The Olde Harbour Inn isn't the type of hotel that you go back to and feel like you could be in any hotel in America. I always feel like I might be missing something of the city in hotels like that. Almost like I'm wasting my vacation time. This Inn in itself is part of the Savannah history experience.

Room #203 was actually a basement room that overlooked Moran Towing of Savannah,504 E.River Street(room appeared to be on 1st floor where it overlooked Moran Towing. Bedroom and bathroom were extremely small. Bedroom window looked out at a wall on Factors Walk. Requested another room, shown #403. This was actually a 3rd floor room. Slightly better view but still Moran's. Loft bedroom, not enough room to walk around the bed either at the top or bottom. Two people sharing this room would have to crawl over each other to enter or leave the bed. No bathroom in loft. Riverview from loft completely obstructed. Booked two nights but cancelled the second. Date of stay was June 18,2007. Very disappointed.
