Primo hotel in the OOB area!!!

The Ocean Walk hotel is a fantastic place to stay in the Old Orchard Beach-Pine Point, ME area. While it is 1 1/2 miles from all the action in the center of town, it is far enough removed that there is no crowds or hustle and bustle. You can totally relax and head into the town center when you like.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Our room had a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a king size Murphy bed in the living room. The kitchenette was more than adequate. Rooms had brand new tv's w/ cable and were bright and cheerful. Outside each doorway were a few deck chairs for you to use while listening to the ocean. All rooms in the hotel were literally steps from the ocean. This was a great place for families or adults without kids to stay. Most families with children seem to stay toward the center of town near the amusements; this was totally different. Families with children were mellow and there wasn't noisy running footsteps all the time. The beautiful grounds and relaxed atmosphere, not to mention the friendly guests and staff were so pleasant to experience. This would be a great place for anyone to stay for at least a week; providing the means for total relaxation.

The hotel has a large, enclosed pool area adjoining to the check-in area. This beats most hotel/motel pools in town which are right on the main street and provide absolutely no privacy. You'll like the Ocean View's thoughtful set up. Local newspapers and coffee are provided for guests daily.

Enjoy your trip, I'm sure you will if you stay at the Ocean View.

We have gone to the Ocean Walk for the past 8 years and we love it! Located away from the pier, so not too loud or busy. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Staff is wonderful, very helpful and knowledgable of the area. The beach in this area is not too overcrowded and is very clean. Looking forward to next year!

Best hotel on the beach

My husband, 3 year old son, and I vacationed for the first time in Old Orchard Beach during the last week of June. After extensive research, we choose the Ocean Walk Hotel and were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean. It is was nice to have a small kitchen for snacks and breakfast. The location was perfect, on the quiet end of the beach. We loved being able to walk out our door, 50 feet onto the sand, and into the water. The view here is amazing. The beach is perfect for young children. Also, there is a terrific playground just a few feet from the pier. We rented a stroller ($10 for the day) which was easier than packing one to take with us. We walked the entire length of the beach looking at the other hotels and you could just tell that the Ocean Walk Hotel was better than the rest. My only complaint was that I pulled the daybed down on my toe (ouch) and that it, along with the futon, were a little damp and sandy. I think that most ocean front locals have that issue though. We look forward to vacationing here again.
