My opnion is for the money you can stay some where else and get better service. We checked in on a Sunday and we used a glass for a drink it sat in the same place until we left on Wednesday. There was dirty dishes left in the hall way from someones room service for two days. The breakfast buffet was very small and very pricey. When I was packing to leave I bent down to pick something up off the floor and looked behind the dresser there had to be inches of dirt and dust behind it. If I would of seen it the first day I would of left.My advice stay somewhere else. The only thing I liked was the terrace it has . You can stand out there and look at the city

Very conveniently located to Times Square and Broadway.Very tiny and dated rooms.“Hotel was in a great location to the tourist buses, Broadway shows and Times Square. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. However, the rooms were dated and very small but I hear that is normal in NY.”

Great location, about 5 blocks from Times Square and Central Park. Convenient parking across the street. Nice modern lobby. Not many rooms with two double beds. Outside entrance not very impressive.“I was pleased with the quality of the hotel. I called a few times prior to arriving and found the representative to be very rude every time, however, the front desk staff and concierge were there during my stay were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms weren't fabulous but I had a decent view of Times Square and for the price, were fine by me!”

The location. No coffee pot.“Needed upgrade in rooms. Mattress was old. No coffee pot. Location was great. Right off Broadway. Small lobby. And you had to take two elevators to get out. One to the lobby on the 7th floor and one to street level. There were only four elevators.”

Location.Dirty, unaccommodating.“The front desk was unfriendly and unaccommodating. They refused to give me a room with 2 beds even though they were available. They informed me that there was a sofa bed in the room, so I agreed. When I got into the room, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress was dirty. There was also old food such as bagels, cheese, and jams in the bottom desk drawer. (I have the pic to prove it). Also, the environmentally friendly, motion-activated A/C shut off whenever there was no movement in the room, which made it very uncomfortable when we would leave the room and come back. I would never stay here again.”

Clean and services readily accessible - Happy to have us as guests.Slow elevator from first floor.“Friendly, clean, cheerful, even the bellman sang Broadway tunes. All the staff seemed to really enjoy being there and treated everyone with great care unlike the Hilton in New York where we spent the final part of our stay.”

Nice lobby and great location.Small room, older looking bathroom.“Nice hotel in a great location. I was told I would have a king bed plus a sofa bed but the only thing I had was a couple of chairs to push together for my youngest daughter to sleep on. Lots of French speaking people which made it interesting.”

To start, the front desk was not

To start, the front desk was not friendly or accomodating. I asked for two beds since I was with my sister. They would only give me a room with a king sized bed. I informed them I did not want to sleep in the same bed as my sister and they informed us that there was a sofa bed in the room. The sofa bed turned out to be extremely uncomfortable, not to mention UGLY! Then, we found old food such as bagels, cheese, and jams in the bottom drawer of the desk. The "environmentally friendly" A/C is motion activated and shuts off whenever their is no movement in the room. The room was not very clean and looked nothing like the picture of the room I saw on the website. Upon check out, we asked them to hold our bags and were charged! Most hotels will do this for free, plus tip of course. When we left, we had to take our bags a half a block down to the parking garage. The hotel validates for upto $30 for the first 24 hours. If you stay longer than 26 hours you will get charged for 2 full days. Our parking bill for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday to 5 p.m. on Sunday was $60!!! It was $90 without the hotel's "validation". The location of the hotel was good but that's about it. Novotel is an Accor Hotel that is owned by a FRENCH company. No wonder this place is so unfriendly and horrible. I would never recommend this place nor stay here again!
