They used to serve 2 meals a day with great breakfast and dinner. The fire was always going and everybody was having fun. The place was packed and you had to make reservation way in advance in order to get a room. The owner was a culinary graduate and he catered to everybody's needs. He had the most helpful staff that was very friendly and was constantly cleaning. Now this place is horrible and should be shut down by the towns health department. The current owners are very rude and could care less that your there. Too bad things had to change. Maybe we can get the former owner back. We slept in layers of clothes and with our hoods on tied tight because we were so afraid of bugs. I also insisted we sleep with the lights on becuase I was scared roaches wouild come out if we turned out the lights. There were hairs in our sheets and I mean alot of them and the comforter was so dirty we threw it on the floor and slept with our jackets covering us. This place needs some serious help. The hosts were very nice and accommodating with our special requests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a very homey atmosphere. It’s on a quiet relaxing side street and you can relax on the outdoor porch or indoor couches. I highly recommend it for someone that is budget minded and wants a homey country like experience. Rude and unhelpful owners and simply not upto mordern standards. The images of this hotel must have been taken a few years ago as it is not like that now. Dirty,smelly, damp.
