Need to invest in airfreshners and updating.

The price was cheap but so was the service. Had no continental breakfast, had to pay for wireless internet, matresses were about 20 years old. Was extremely noisey and had a HORRIBLE smell throughout the whole place. Reminded me of the Bates Motel in the movie Phsycho!! The only good thing good about it was that the rooms were clean, but terribly outdated.

Pets Allowed

This is great for people with pets, but not so great for those who stay afterwards when a previous guest's family friend had FLEAS!

Aside from the lobby (enough to scare anyone off), and the noisey guests (though the hotel was far from full, my young child and I were housed right next to a college getaway party), our stay would have been a great deal more pleasant if I wasn't still treating the bites over 6 weeks later!!!

Would NEVER stay at any Motel 6 again.

Not worth the value. This hotel is not worth the bargin. The carpet and walls were stained beyond help. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the tap dripping in the next room. Although the icemaker was 6 rooms down you heard it all night long. The hallways were dark and dirty. Your feet stuck to the carpet as you walked. The lock on the door to our room was repaired but not to safe standards. The blankets on the bed were stiff and hard. I doubt if they were ever new. I would spend the extra 20 bucks and stay somewhere else.....anywhere else!

MISINFORMATION

The Fargo Motel 6 may have been at one time the inexpensive and convenient place to stay, but this is no longer the case. DO NOT BE MISLED BY THIS INTERNET ADVERTISEMENT OF $37/night! Recently, my roommate & I had our car break down in Harwood and were forced to take a taxi back into Fargo; short of funds (due to the impending need for repairs), but in need of a place to saty we decided to try Motel 6. The price of a room for 1 night for 2 people was $70 plus tax & fees. I should also remark that the lobby was a frightening and dirty cramped hallway with a tiny security glassed in office (with broken glass) and completely unsanitary slot to hand money and paperwork through. There was also a doorman to lead people to their rooms that looked unkempt and would have been better placed in some horrid old 70's porn. Needless to say, we left immediately and walked 2 blocks to another motel where the room was only $59 and emmensely nicer.

A very economical place to stay.

The room was nice and quiet. The Motel 6 is located near many restaurants. They also have a pool. The carpet could have used a cleaning. Overall, a good stay for the reasonable price.

clean,affordable, easy access

I am exteremly picky when it comes to hotel/motel cleanliness, and this one was great. The service was excellent. The location is easy to get where you need to go. I would definately stay here again. The only things that I would have liked would have been a pool. But for $30 for a safe comfy place to sleep you don't really pay attention to all the other frills. Besides then I have $70 to spend shopping :)

You never expect frills at a Motel 6.

You never expect frills at a Motel 6. And true to form, this Motel 6 had no frills. But they had a clean room at a good price. The staff was friendly and reasonably helpful. And a plus for a North Dakotan motel -- they had a place to plug your car in outside. That really should be something you find at all motels up here in the God-forsaken land that is the frozen tundra of the United States. My wife and I give this place two frozen thumbs up.
