      <title>Platinum Member Disappointed</title>
      <link>http://www.travelpost.com//hotels/Minneapolis_Marriott_City_Center/r366074</link>
<description>As a Platinum Member of Marriott I have grown accustomed to being treated very well at Marriott properties. Unfortunately I found my experience at the Minneapolis City Center to be lacking. I specifically asked for an upgrade 1 week prior to checking into the hotel. Instead of an upgrade I was given a downgrade a room on a non-concierge level floor with a view of a much taller building. Upon entering my room I looked to find my complimentary bottle of water and milano cookies as all Marriott properties provide to Platinum members, but was disappointed again. I requested water to be brought up to my room, but unfortunately it never happened. Furthermore the bathroom had only 1 bath towel and when I went to take a shower found the shower curtain falling off the rails. Overall this Marriott has left a real bad taste in my mouth.</description>
