I liked that it was conveniently located and that the staff were very efficient. The amenities were on par with other such hotels. There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

We would not stay here again.

We spent three nights in the Millennium during our daughter's wedding. Her reception was held in the Loring Ballroom of the hotel.
With room reservations made a month in advance, we asked for a room with a king sized bed and instead recieved two full beds. We asked for a non-smoking room and recieved a room with ashtrays and cigarette burns in the carpet. The bathroom had a hole in the wall where a mirror was ripped out before.
The staff in the Loring ballroom were rude.
Plates were grabbed out from in front of us before we could finish our food.
However, the staff in the hotel dining room were wonderful. Especially the hostess. Very gracious.

Millennium is the wrong name!

This hotel is not what I would think of when I hear Millennium. Minor details of this hotel would be considered updated. Glass countertops, upside down lamp shade. Other than that it is a 1970's looking hotel, with it's share of wear. Staff was friendly and the price was very fair for this area. Eight blocks from the train that takes you all over, even to the Mall of America! Only $1.50 each way per person.
No contenental breakfast.
Parking is expensive!

Nice place , very very modern, Rooms are smaller than i expected they would be. Parking is pretty expensive. 12.00 a day! At the end of Nicollett Ave but a short walk to many shops/restaurants and beautiful nicollett mall, has a good view if your on that side of the building. Not a bad place though
