Impressive

I got a great deal on this hotel and thought it would be nice based on the website. When I checked in, it greatly exceeded my expectations. Not only was the room nicely furnished, and the bathroom really nice (both room and bathroom nice size), but the location of the hotel was phenominal! Easy walk to where ever I wanted to go, and easy access to the "T". I have stayed in Boston before, but this hotel and its location made my trip 100 times better. Any negatives I have are so minor, they are not worth mentioning.

The staff was very nice, check in and out was fast, and the location was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The rooms facing Fanieul Hall were a little noisy in the morning with traffic and deliveries, but overall it was great! Am staying again in May!

Just across the street from Faneuil

Just across the street from Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, this updated hotel is staffed by some of the most helpful people I've encountered at hotels. Greeted by bell hops and counter staff with enthusiasm, at all hours of the day, one is immediately feeling royally treated. The room was most comfortable, quiet even facing on a busy street, and furnished with the plush linens expected in more expensive accommodations. A large marble-tiled shower and contemporary fixtures finished out the decor. In January 2009, the hotel continues to undergo renovation, but it was not at all bothersome, being confined to what apparently will eventually be the future dining area. Convenient to the "T" at Government Center, any part of the city can be reached with ease. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious if quite overpriced; nearby however are the usual fast food restaurants for a quick bite in the morning.

I've visted Boston several times and this is by far the best location. Right next to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and a short walk to the North End Italian section for great food. We never ate at the hotel so I can't comment on that, but the rooms and rest of the hotel was newly remodeled. I believe to be completed by 2008. Location is close to the road and I worried it may be loud with the balcony doors, but I didn't have any problems sleeping.

The lobby was very trendy and clean despite using partition screens to hide construction. The glaring problem was that this hotel is undergoing a major renovation“Fabulous central location directly across from Faneuil Market, and walking distance from lots of historical sites. However, I did not especially enjoy looking out our window at all the trash produced by the open produce market directly below us. On a positive note, we also had views of the Boston suspension bridge in the distance. I also appreciated the internet access. I'm sure after the renovations; this hotel will be majorly improved. It is undergoing growing pains. I would have liked to either be warned about this or else see some monetary compensation.”

High-end hotel in heart of the city

Millennium Bostonian could not be more favorably placed to enjoy the vibrancy of Boston's historic city center. Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market are across the street, the wharf, Aquarium and Old State House are steps away, and it is close to public transportation. You can even choose what style of room you stay in, either the modern Bostonian wing or traditional Harkness wing. An on-site spa helps soothe aching muscles from all that sightseeing. Wifi is available for free in the lobby, with in-room wired connectivity for $9.95 a day. The hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovation, which should be completed by October of 2008.

Fantastic location, large room,

Fantastic location, large room, wonderful bathroom, comfy beds, great view.No pool, no free breakfast buffet.“My teenage son and 8 year old daughter and I stayed three nights and had wonderful time. Our corner room was large enough to accommodate a large, comfy cot in addition to the king bed and had windows on two sides overlooking Faneuil Hall. One set of windows were French doors that opened on to a small balcony. The rooms are very recently renovated and felt brand new. The lobby and common areas are under major construction so are not attractive, but this did not matter to us. The large beautifully tiled bathroom had a glassed in shower that was a dream. The only two things missing that we love to have were an indoor pool, and a free breakfast buffet. The location, near Faneuil Hall and the North End (little Italy), the Aquarium, and Government Center "T" stop was super convenient.”

Newly renovated rooms, clean, great location, great staff.Difficult to say because the hotel was under renovations.“When the hotel will be fully renovated it will be fantastic. The new rooms were very tastefully decorated - including the ultramodern bathroom. Would definitely return to the hotel, not only because of its physical attributes, but the location. It is in the centre of Boston and within walking distance of most of the cities attractions.”

The comfort, size and quality of the room was exceptional. The restaurant/lounge was somewhat small but was in a great location so you could look out at Fanueil Hall.“This hotel was great. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. I was checking out and realized that they had half the hotel under construction and didn't even realize it. They are doing a good job of this construction.”
