Nice. For tourists

This is a nice hotel but the rooms all face Ground Zero and the construction noise is going to be annoying for some years to come. The business center is pathetic -- you have to pay for everything, not exactly friendly to the business traveler. Otherwise, it's ok.

pros: location, rooms, views, pleasant staffI recently stayed Saturday March 7, 2009 for 1 night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and had a remarkable stay. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The subway station is literally right next to it in order to hop on and go further into the city! From the very moment we walked in we were greeted and helped accordingly when needed. I loved it we stayed on the 23rd floor with an amazing room and view! We will certainly come back.

Thanks to the Millenium Hilton and staff

The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms were very small. The shower curtain was mildewed. Internet was not high-speed.“We were able to easily get a room with a king sized bed, non-smoking and on a higher floor out of range of all the noise at ground zero. The lobby was quite small and not a place to gather with friends. The hotel was simple and efficient, a good place for business travelers. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.”

Rooms were very nice.Internet connections did not work, lots of construction noise.“The room and hotel are nicely renovated, the staff was very helpful, but I would not recommend staying there until the WTC site construction is complete. We were woken up at 5:30 AM by the sound of drilling.”
