The fence was loaded with green slime. Not exactly a picturesque view. The fence was there because in back of it set three - four old mobile homes in bad condition. I had no idea why they were there. Although the room had a microwave and a small refrig, basic items that I have expected automatically at most economy motels (Sleep Inn for example) such as a blow dryer and shampoo tolietries were not present. Although a continental breakfast was advertised the area is small with little sitting room and few choices. The OJuice on the second day was diluted because of ice cubes melting in it and was horrible. Milk for ceral on the first day was luke warm -it was sitting in the open in a pitcher but with no obvious attempts to cool it. The location of the motel is about .3 miles from an Outlet shopping center as a plus. The motel lacks management attention for customer care in my opinion - my first night upon arrival the clerk was outside the front entrance smoking - not attending the desk. The second evening when coming back to the motel - I observed the same practice. Bottom line is that there are better choices near by - Sleep Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, etc. even if they cost a few dollars more. Our stay was wonderful and will stay again. This hotel is so well located we traveled up and down the beach with little or no traffic due to 31 a non access hwy that runs up and down the beach.And this hwy is right next to the hotel. This is a very nice hotel for the price. It's an affordable, no frills hotel. The only problem we had was parking. There were trailers parked side ways taking up mutilple parking spacing, lots of illegal parking, due to a motorclye convention.
